Women's entrepreneurship represents one of the ways of women's re-entry into the labour market. Although the term „female entrepreneurship“ is often used in the literature, it is more correct to say the entrepreneurship of women or women in entrepreneurship (because the term entrepreneur itself does not indicate the gender of the entrepreneur, and therefore does not distinguish between female and male entrepreneurship). The final paper will show the development of female entrepreneurship and will present female entrepreneurship as one of the forms of entrepreneurship that is significant for the economic development of society and community. The final paper will define entrepreneurship and show the importance of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs, and will investigate the precondition for the development of entrepreneurship and the demographic structures of entrepreneurs. There will be define the basic concepts and characteristics of women entrepreneurs, and there will be show the differences between women entrepreneurs and men entrepreneurs. There will be listed obstacles and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs when starting a business venture. There are numerous ways of encouraging female entrepreneurship through various supports, education and networking, some of them will be presented in the paper They are trying to prevent the gap in entrepreneurial activity between women and men, to empower and encourage women through education and networking in order to strengthen the entrepreneurial activity of women. The qualitative research will present the business venture of a successful women entrepreneur. There will be researched and analysed ways of financing a business venture, as well as the importance of education, support from family and business partners, and networking with other women entrepreneurs for the success of a business venture.
