In today's business system, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an increasingly common practice. Due to its influences, it is gaining more and more importance and breadth day by day, because not only large corporations are used, but also small and medium enterprises. Europe and the world, including the Republic of Croatia, promotes its strategy of social responsibility, which is a response to social and economic obstacles and pressures, while explaining how the company achieves its competitive advantage and entry into the future of its organizations. CSR affects the future business excellence and success of the already mentioned small and medium enterprises, and it is precisely the main goal of clarifying the work. It also wants to explain how CSR is involved in the business process and practice of companies that cooperate with foreign customers and suppliers, how it is carried out in the production of raw materials, and how it is related to environmental protection both globally and domestically. This way of doing business ensures better financial stability, business results and competitive advantage in the market. Also, socially responsible business contributes to working conditions as well as the well-being of the community. The conducted research confirmed the justification of the implementation of the socially responsible business program that the organization has towards the society and vice versa. An analysis of companies implementing the Rainforest program concluded that CSR within the company in Croatia is on the rise.
