New business ventures can play a significant role in driving future economic growth and stimulating the economy. By securing financing, they create new jobs and contribute to overall economic development. The main goal of this thesis is to determine the most appropriate financing options for a new business initiative. The chosen business activity is the establishment of a facility for manufacturing products and parts using 3D printing. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of available funding sources and enable the company to make an informed decision on the best financial strategy. The methodology is based on an analytical approach, incorporating cost-benefit analysis, case studies, and statistical data. Exploring financing options for businesses can help create better conditions for their growth. In line with this, the thesis examines the range of financial products available on the Croatian market. The key research questions that form the basis of the analysis for this new business venture are: What financing options are available on the market for new business activities? and Does the company meet the criteria for the selected financing source? The research results indicate that the optimal way to finance the new business venture is through a combination of the company's own funds and a five-year bank loan, secured by appropriate financial instruments. This combination provides a solid foundation for optimizing capital and minimizing financial risks, allowing the company to grow steadily and achieve its business objectives. The project has been evaluated as profitable and liquid, generating enough cash flow to repay the investment and meet obligations on time. The conclusions suggest that timely analysis of financial options is crucial for successfully managing business risks. This thesis could be valuable to owners of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as financial advisors working in the 3D printing industry.
